OEAEA / Clans / Provence / France

image_pdf

During the artistic residence in Clans (French Provence), for the program OEAEA. invited by Pascale Tiraboschi and Isabelle Sordage, i made a little wooden sculpture intervention.

My research focuses on the relationship between two elements.

The calligraphic design and structural balance.

How to merge calligraphy and structural sensitivity?
I made several series of sketch and stretches, looking for a new alphabet that would take account of beauty, grace tract but also of the scientific static structural balance of sculpture.

The hieroglyphs that i made unconsciously take into account the weight that will hold up, their presence in space and the future wood assembly.

Once selected frame 3, they were assembled in space.
